First time getting this particular brand, specifically because of the choose a size feature. They feel too soft, the absorbency is just not like Bounty and the pick a size feature doesn’t necessarily work well when treating each sheet into a square. The rolls are lasting me much longer though so that is helpful.

I expected something along the lines of Bounty or Viva. Instead I got a basic store brand type of paper towel. Definitely not worth the price. I won’t be buying them again.

I used to buy nothing but Brawny towels, then had to change when the pandemic happened. I ordered these because I thought they were the same good towels, but they aren’t. The perforations aren’t as good, and they are not perforated in half for the quarter size piece. Rip off a single piece, then that’s supposed to be perfed in half, but it’s not. It’s more like a 2/3 and 1/3 size pieces. The perf is not easy to separate, like they claim. I bought a huge package of them and I’m not happy, but since I’m just using the first roll, it’s going to be a while before I get through them. Wish the manufacturers would stop making changes and leave things as they were.

The roll on the left is Brawny; the roll on the right is Bounty. Both are advertised as “triple rolls”. As you can see, if the Brawny is a triple roll, I can’t imagine what a single roll would look like. I’ve used Bounty for years, and now I will go back to them. The cost is the same, and a triple roll is actually 3 X the size of a single roll, unlike Brawny towels.

These paper towels are perforated in four sections, so you can use a full-sized sheet, a half-sized sheet, or a quarter-sized sheet. The only drawback to this is you can’t just yank off a sheet. These are very substantial paper towels, and if you just go to yank one off you end up unrolling a bunch of sheets from the roll. If they were perforated the same as other brands, you would end up with a quarter sheet in your hand, when you’d really wanted a full sheet. These are perforated, of course, but they don’t tear off so easily. You need to firmly grasp the roll and tear off the size you want. A minor inconvenience, but I got used to it after having to re-roll them a few times when I’d grabbed a sheet and gave it a firm yank, only to wind up with 5 feet of towels unrolled on the counter. It’s surprising how often I actually do only need a quarter-sheet though, now that I have this option, and given how substantial and absorbent these towels are. Plus, these towels are truly sturdy enough to rinse and re-use. A lot of brands claim this, but I have never found it to be factual, even with other well-known name brands. These are heavy-duty and very absorbent. 8 triple-rolls, equal to 24 regular rolls. At this price, that’s equivalent to under a dollar a roll – less than I’ve paid for a single roll of flimsy, budget brand paper towels.

There’s absolutely no way in hell these are triple rolls. They appear to be just a little over regular rolls. But if Brawny is advertising these as “triple rolls”, they are being deceitful and dishonest. I’m just really surprised no one mentions anything about this in the reviews.

As far as quality goes, these paper towels aren’t all that bad.

I am writing another review on this product because my first review was not submitted so I am trying again. The product I thought that I was buying here was a product that was advertised as a product that I have purchased before in the store. The item that we received does not appear to be what was in the add. The item was advertised here as triple roll tear a square rolls. It appears to be be a single or double roll compared to triple rolls purchased in the store. Also the perforations to tear a square are hardly visible & not so easy to tear. I rarely write reviews but just decided to do so when I was sent an email asking me to do so.

I ordered Flex Brawny Tear a Square paper towels because I had used the Brawny Tear a Square which was not Flex and liked them. I was able to tear the paper towel off the rack with one hand with the NON Flex. With the Brawny Flex I have to use two hands to successfully tear a straight line off the roll. This is important to those of us who use paper towels multiple times a day…..with one hand only because the other hand is holding something that needs a paper towel!! You probably say I am being picky which is fine but I wanted those of you out there to know the Brawny Flex is not what we had hoped it would be.
